Tiger sprays family with urine at zoo (video)
A family at a Nebraska zoo were left less than impressed when a tiger decided to mark her territory - and squirted them with wee.
The family were on a trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha when Nika the tiger decided to spray her guests.
A tiger's main method of marking its territory is to spray a form of urine from their anal gland.
And that's exactly the treatment the family received. The Daily Mail reports that the family are regular visitors to see Nika, and that she's usually sleeping when they go.
So on this occasion, as she was walking around and roaring, they decided to film her.
They got as close as possible to get a good look - and that's when they got sprayed.
According to the Mirror, the woman's husband uploaded the video online and said: "My wife and my two kids, (10-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter), were visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha.
"Usually the tigers and lions are napping when we visit, but this Siberian tiger named Nika was active.
"So, this is why my wife decided to start recording the tiger.
"She got our kids up as close as possible so they could see.
"Well, Nika decided to mark her territory and well, my wife and kids were in the wrong place at the right time."
