Sadie Robertson shares where she gets her inspiration
"My name is Sadie Carroway Robertson. ... I'm not toned, and I don't have abs. ... I struggle with jealousy, and I struggle with comparing myself to other people."
That seven-minute monologue is apparently resonating. With about 2.5 million views on YouTube, "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson talks about loving yourself the way you are.
Robertson, who was also on season 19's cast of "Dancing With the Stars," says she didn't initially plan to post the video, but did it at her little sister's urging.
"And I wanted people to know no matter who you are, you can't reach it by comparing yourself to others. I found by going through God was the best way to do it," she told ABC's Robin Roberts.
There's definitely a biblical overtone in her message of achieving inner peace -- which wouldn't surprise any fans who follow her on social media -- but Robertson told ABC she only intended to share what works for her specifically.
Another source of inspiration for the reality star? Her family, she says.
