Ready to switch wireless carriers? Visible is giving customers reasons to make the move, offering as much as $200 in gift cards to users who transfer their number and phone from another carrier to Visible’s unlimited no-contract unlimited plans, or to customers who buy a new phone from Visible. Here’s how.

Bring an eligible phone (or purchase one from Visible), and create an account on the Visible website or through the mobile app. Transfer your number from your current carrier via the website, app or by contacting the Care team; download an eSIM or insert a new SIM card; and follow the instructions to activate your account. Once you’ve activated your account and made payments for three months, you'll receive instructions to select a virtual gift card.

Available gift card retailers include Amazon, AutoZone, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, The Children's Place, Famous Footwear, Groupon and more, so you can stock up for holiday shopping or buy yourself something special. There's an additional incentive for users who buy their phone from Visible: wireless earbuds, including Apple AirPods Pro, valued at up to $250. (The wireless earbuds eligible customers receive vary based on the phone you bring or buy.)

When we tested Visible’s no-contract plan, we found it to be an affordable way to get online without worrying about data caps. Visible's entry-level plan is $40 a month ($25 for your first month) or $25 per month with the Party Plan of up to four connected lines. The plan gives you unlimited calling minutes, texts and data as well as a 5 Mbps Wi-Fi hotspot. Note that once you reach a certain cap, service won't be cut off or result in exorbitant overage fees, but speeds might be slowed down. It will be fast enough for checking e-mail, sending instant messages, and web surfing but it won't be ideal for playing bandwidth-intensive games or streaming video or music. If you're looking to switch everyone in the family over, we found that Visible's Party Plan is the most affordable group plan offering of any major carrier.
