'1883' Fans Will Be Devastated Over the Latest Episode News

1883 is a certified hit. And with the blockbuster cast of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott, it's no surprise. When the first two episodes aired on Paramount Network after Yellowstone, the show became the biggest new series premiere on cable since 2015, and it broke records as the most watched series premiere on Paramount+.

After just five episodes, it's safe to say viewers are hooked on the Dutton family origin story, especially after that seriously emotional fifth episode. We have not recovered from that shocking death, but it looks like we'll have a little more time to get our feelings in check.

That's right, there will not be a new episode of 1883 airing this week, but before you get too distraught, we can confirm that the hiatus will be brief and a new episode will air on January 30. After that, it's full steam ahead, with all new episodes on Paramount+ each Sunday until the finale on February 27.
