If you’ve had your eye on a Theragun, now is the time to buy. Therabody, the brand behind the percussive massage device, is offering up to $200 off its Theragun devices, plus up to $300 off its RecoveryAir compression system and up to $50 off its Wave Rollers.

As a runner, I’ve used my Theragun Mini to recover from long runs and strength training. And like a regular massage, it’s also helped me feel more relaxed and helped me fall asleep faster when used at night. However, a Theragun can also be used as a natural pain reliever for those with chronic pain or for those who work on their feet all day (hello, healthcare workers!), and it can help with stiff muscles for those who have a more sedentary desk job.

“A lot of people think of us as a fitness or recovery company, and it’s actually just a part of what we do,” Therabody CEO Ben Nazarian said at a press event. “It’s an important part, but that’s what people see … [like] the Lakers using it on Sunday against the Clippers on the court during a timeout,” explaining that body pain issues can occur outside of the fitness space.

“So much of what we do is actually helping people with ailments and muscle tension around body parts,” he added. “We’re always thinking about, how do we help people treat their body better?”

This year, Therabody released all-new upgraded devices that are more powerful, lighter in weight and quieter, and the brand launched its RecoveryAir System. But last year, it launched its cheapest and smallest massage gun, the Theragun Mini, and a new type of massage device, the Wave Roller.

The Theragun, Wave Rollers and RecoveryAir Systems are on sale through Dec. 1. And as a frequent user, I can’t recommend the Theragun Mini enough.

The Theragun Mini is about 5.5 inches wide and weighs 1.2 pounds, so it’s super portable. However, don’t be mistaken — this device packs some serious power. It has three speeds: 1750, 2100 and 2400 percussions per minute. Turn it on, off and change the speed with one button that lights up when it’s on and turns red when it needs a charge. But you don’t have to charge it much. It has 150 minutes of battery life and takes only about 80 minutes to charge.

I’ve tried out all of the Theragun devices, but I purchased the Theragun Mini because it’s just as powerful as the others but costs much less. Plus, it’s small enough that I can pack it in my bag to use after sitting during a long road trip or plane ride. It’s currently on sale for $25 off.

The Theragun PRO is the most advanced of the percussive massage devices, and it’s considered professional-grade. It’s quiet while being the most powerful of the brand’s devices, and it has up to five built-in speeds. The arm rotates so you can reach every sore spot at every angle.

Additionally, it has an OLED screen for reading the speed, force meter and battery life (which is 300 minutes after charging). It also uses Bluetooth to connect to the Therabody mobile app, where you can remotely adjust speed, activate guided treatment presets and make real-time recommendations based on your usage. The Theragun PRO also comes with six different head attachments and two rechargeable lithium ion batteries. This device is top-notch!

2. Wave Roller, $99 (Orig. $149)

The Theragun Prime is one step above the mini. It has LED light indicators that show speed and force, and it connects to the mobile app for app-guided presets. The biggest difference between the Theragun Prime and the Theragun PRO is that on this one, the arm doesn’t move, it has 120 minutes of battery life, it’s a little smaller, and it comes with four attachments. If you’re not a professional athlete but want top-level pain relief, this may be the one for you.

4. RecoveryAir System, $499 (Orig. $699)

While massage guns help increase blood flow to an area to support your body’s natural recovery process, the RecoveryAir System uses compression to increase circulation. In turn, this can reduce pain, fatigue, swelling and stiffness. Simply sit down in a chair, strap on the boots, and manually control the pressure, hold and session time as the boots inflate.

According to the product description, increasing circulation can flush out waste so that fresh oxygenated blood can return to certain sore areas of the body. This is what helps your body recover. You can use these boots on your legs or arms.

5. Wave Duo, $79 (Orig. $99)

The Wave Roller Duo is the second addition to the Wave Roller line. It’s contoured in the center for better treating the back, spine and neck. However, you can even place your leg in the center to massage it on all sides. Like the original Wave Roller, this one also has five built-in speeds and connects to the Therabody mobile app.
