A-level results day is finally here, and the general consensus on Twitter is that of major STRESS. While some people are celebrating and some are commiserating, the shared emotion of anxiety is definitely real.

But instead of sharing their results and (probably) putting their parents out of their misery, students have been taking to Twitter with memes that sum up ALL the feels. At least if the exams went badly, they could make it as a meme maker, right?

Others who aren't taking their exams right now, but have taken A-levels at some point in their lives, are also sharing words of wisdom for students and essentially hammering home the notion that, 'Hey, it'll all be alright in the end!' Which is then quickly followed by other people making memes out of those people. Yes, there are lots of A-level results day memes going on, but if there's one thing we know for sure, memes make everything better...

    A major fire that engulfed a restaurant and hotel in eastern India on Thursday killed at least six people and injured 20, a local fire officer said. The fire began when a cooking gas cylinder exploded while diners were eating in the restaurant, and it soon spread into an adjacent hotel in Patna, the capital of Bihar state, said Satya Prakash, the officer. At least 40 people were rescued from the two buildings by firefighters who doused the blaze using more than a dozen fire engines, Prakash said.

The drugmaker plans to use its new life sciences Advanced Research Centre in the western city of Darmstadt, which it is spending 300 million euros on, to develop services and digital platforms to help scientists work more effectively. Scholz said he wanted Germany to build on a 2.3 billion euro investment by Eli Lilly in the western town of Alzey and other development plans by Novo Nordisk, BioNTech, AbbVie and Roche for Europe's biggest economy.

Three other men have also been arrested in connection with the fatal crossing, but one of these, a 19-year-old from Sudan, has since been released without charge and will be dealt with by immigration officials, the NCA said.

    A court in Turkey sentenced nine rail officials to more than 108 years' imprisonment over a crash six years ago that killed 25 people, local media reported on Thursday. A passenger train operated by Turkish State Railways derailed in July 2018 as it passed through Corlu district some 110 kilometers (68 miles) west of Istanbul. The train was traveling from Unlukopru, near the Greek border, to Istanbul’s Halkali station, Turkey’s main rail route to Europe.

    Climate-focused investor Decarbonization Partners, a tie-up between BlackRock and Singaporean state investment firm Temasek, said on Thursday it had raised a higher-than-targeted $1.4 billion for its first fund. Others to back the venture and late-stage growth equity fund, which will focus on companies that can help accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy, include U.S. insurer Allstate, Spanish lender BBVA and energy firm TotalEnergies.
