1 restaurant fails, most get good scores in Tarrant County health inspections. No closures

One restaurant failed, but most restaurants received good scores in the latest Tarrant County health inspections, according to county data. No restaurant was closed.

There were 55 inspections from March 12 to March 18.

Tarrant County Public Health inspects and scores all restaurants in Tarrant County except for those located in Fort Worth, Arlington, Euless, and North Richland Hills.

Tacos Danys at 5408 Flamingo Road received four demerits. The restaurant failed its inspection due to lack of hot water.

Chicken was observed being thawed in a microwave instead of being thawed under refrigeration or under cold water at a KFC at 2011 South Las Vegas Trail in White Settlement. The restaurant received 13 demerits.

No restaurant received over 29 demerits. Restaurants receiving more than 29 demerits require a follow-up inspection. No restaurant had a follow-up inspection.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants that Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) inspected for Feb. 26th - March 4th, 2023. TCPH inspects and scores all restaurants in Tarrant County except for those located in Fort Worth, Arlington, Euless and North Richland Hills. Scores are based on a demerit system.
