UPDATE 1-Fed leaves monthly Treasury purchases unchanged for April 14-May 13 period

(Adds details, analyst comment)

NEW YORK, April 13 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve on Tuesday released its asset purchase schedule for the April 14-May 13 period, keeping its Treasury purchases unchanged at $80 billion per month.

Market participants were expecting changes after Lorie Logan, an executive vice president at the New York Fed and the manager of the System Open Market Account, said last week that the U.S. central bank could make technical adjustments to its asset purchases to better match the U.S. Treasury's total debt outstanding.

"Logan is trying to tell us that changes are coming, probably in the next few months, if we take her literally," said Gennadiy Goldberg, senior rates strategist, at TD Securities.

"The market moved when she made the remarks, you would assume that the Fed would already have made the change at that point."
