I suggest that the men and women show up in swimsuits.

The reason they are talking about what they wear under their gowns is so us regular women who wear Spanx on special occasions don't feel bad. If we know the skinny celebs have to do it too, we don't feel so bad trying to hide our bumps.

At one time, undergarments were referred to as "Foundations" not out of politeness, but because they were the foundation for the look of the garment. Yes sometimes, often, they are uncomfortable, but most of these clothes, even on the best of figures, wouldn't look as striking without a foundation undergarment. And in the big picture, true this is not as important as other issues, but it is a comment on dress, culture and society - a reflection of values.

hate to break anyones bubble but whether they admit it or not, almost all the stars wear spanks, heck almost all women now wear spanks at one time or another

Being a male I didn't know what spanx are so I did a yahoo image search. What a difference spanx made on women wearing dresses & skirts. First from flabby & bumpy to smooth & hour glass shape. I think it is a excellent suggestions to women who want to look good when they go out on those special occasions.

I'm sure the male "stars" do as well

i bought a supportive undergarment recently and wore it to work one day. i only had it on for 4 hours before i had to take it off and i couldn't understand how so many people wear them. it was the most uncomfortable and unnatural thing i have ever worn! glad to know it's not just me...
