STOCKHOLM, Sweden (Hollywood Reporter) - Sundance faves "Sin Nombre" and "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire" scooped the bulk of awards at the 20th Stockholm Film Festival, which wrapped Sunday.

Mo'Nique won the prize for best actress for her powerful turn as an abusive mother in Lee Daniels' "Precious," a performance that has already put the actress on many handicappers' Oscar shortlists.

They established legacies, won awards and aggravated more than a few. None is easy or conventional. That's what great movies are about.

VENTURA, Calif. - "Pulp Fiction" co-screenwriter Roger Avary has been removed from a prison work furlough program and locked up, authorities say.

Avary was sentenced in September to a year in jail and five years probation for causing a drunken driving car crash that killed a passenger and injured Avary's wife. News reports say he has been serving his time in a work furlough program.

DAYTON, Ohio - The Arabian Horse Foundation has established a scholarship in honor of the late actor Patrick Swayze and his wife.

Swayze and wife Lisa Neimi owned Arabian horses and competed in shows for several years. The foundation is the charitable arm of the Denver-based Arabian Horse Association.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill 'Uncle Bill' Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed," the Cyrus family said in a statement to Access Hollywood.

Tragedy has struck the Miley Cyrus tour as one of its buses overturned near Dinwiddie, Va., killing one, Virginia State Police said in a statement released to Access Hollywood.

The singer was not onboard the bus at the time of crash, which occurred at 8:20 AM on Friday.
