Bruce Dern

A tall, slender Method-trained actor, Bruce Dern has utilized his good looks and striking blue eyes in both heroic and villainous roles. Director Elia Kazan saw the young actor in a production of Sean O'Casey's "Shadow of a Gunman" in 1959, auditioned and trained Dern at the Actors Studio and later cast the performer in "Wild River" (1960).
