|
Armando has been condemned to death in an Arab country, and friends back in Italy react to the news. In flashback, the film traces his life up to this point, revealing him as an inveterate kerb-crawler, a shady Casanova, and a corrupt businessman and aspiring politician. He goes too far when he cruises a veiled Arab woman in the desert while driving a Red Cross jeep.
