Ashish and Rani are in love, but Ashish is a pill-popper and this causes Rani's family to try to separate them. Ashish also has to deal with his friend Rohit, who has the hots for Rani. When Ashish misunderstands his doctor's diagnosis and thinks he has cancer, his world turns upside-down, and he tries to make Rani hate him, so she won't have to deal with the trauma of his death.
