‘Star Wars’ does ‘Call Me Maybe’

It's the mash-up you've all been waiting for: Carly Rae Jepsen's hit song "Call Me Maybe" cleverly combined with George Lucas' "Star Wars" films. Canadian pop music and space opera together at last!

By splicing together footage from all six "Star Wars Saga" movies, YouTube user James Covenant cleverly makes it appear as though the cast of a galaxy far, far away are all singing Jepsen's hit song together. From Obi-wan and Han Solo, to Luke, Leia, Yoda, and Darth Vader, almost every "Star Wars" character gets in on the action. Even reviled prequel character Jar Jar Binks makes an appearance, and it's safe to say that it's the first time the Gungan has added value to anything. Ever.

Even if you're not a fan of "Star Wars" or Jepsen, it's hard not to smile at this brilliantly assembled remix. The earworm is strong with this one! The intergalactic version of Jepsen's disturbingly catchy tune is sure to be stuck in your head all day.
