After a five-year absence, Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, and the rest of the Sunnyvale Trailer Park gang are finally headed back to the big screen -- thanks to the upcoming “Trailer Park Boys 3: Don’t Legalize It.” Even better, Yahoo Movies Canada has your first look at the film’s poster:

The third movie spin-off of the cult Canadian TV series “Trailer Park Boys,” “Don’t Legalize It” finds Ricky (Robb Wells), Julian (John Paul Tremblay) and Bubbles (Mike Smith) up to their old tricks after being released from prison.

Julian must strike a deal with his arch-nemesis Cyrus, Ricky’s marijuana-growing business comes under threat from Canada’s plans to legalize pot, and Bubbles embarks on a quest to claim an inheritance left to him by his long lost parents. As always, former Sunnyvale Trailer Park supervisor Jim Lahey (John Dunsworth) is the proverbial fly in the ointment, attempting to foil the harebrained criminal schemes at every turn of this cross-country odyssey.

The mockumentary-style series “Trailer Park Boys” ran for seven seasons on Canadian channel Showcase, spawned several TV specials, and was syndicated around the world. The titular boys were last seen in theatres in 2009’s “Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day,” a sequel to the 2006 hit “Trailer Park Boys: The Movie.”

Fans were unsure if a third film would ever happen, but series creator Mike Clattenburg and stars Wells, Tremblay, and Smith surprised fans in fall 2012 by signing on for “Don’t Legalize It.”

“Trailer Park Boys 3: Don’t Legalize It” smokes its way into theatres on April 18, just in time for the completely unrelated 4/20 weekend.
