Kristen Bell really loves ‘The Hunger Games’

Continuing her seemingly never-ending calvalcade of adorableness, actress Kristen Bell confessed to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel earlier this week that she is a fan of Suzanne Collins' "Hunger Games." And by "fan" we actually mean she's insanely obsessed with the book trilogy.

Bell proudly declared that she has read the entire "Hunger Games" series twice -- once on her own and another time aloud to her fiancé Dax Shepard, who refused to read the books himself. The former "Veronica Mars" star even admitted that she had a "Hunger Games"-themed birthday party. Talk about dedication!

Although she doesn't have a part the film adaptation, Bell mentioned that she's the right age to play former Hunger Games champion Johanna Mason who first appears in the second book. Her enthusiasm for the source material might just earn her a spot in the now inevitable movie sequel. Fingers crossed for you, Kristen!

Mexico vows retaliation to Trump tariffs without detailing targets
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on Saturday ordered retaliatory tariffs in response to the U.S. decision to slap 25% tariffs on all goods coming from Mexico, as a trade war broke out between the two neighbors. In a lengthy post on X, Sheinbaum said her government sought dialogue rather than confrontation with its top trade partner to the north, but that Mexico had been forced to respond in kind. "I've instructed my economy minister to implement the plan B we've been working on, which includes tariff and non-tariff measures in defense of Mexico's interests," Sheinbaum posted, without specifying what U.S. goods her government will target.
