It hasn’t been long since Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck has been cast to play Batman in the "Man of Steel" sequel -- and already, Twitter/Facebook/every other blog out there has gone nuts.
We have to admit that Affleck has come a long way since his "Daredevil" days (which received just a 45 per cent tomatometer reading on Rotten Tomatoes). Since then he's become an acclaimed asset – behind the scenes that is – with his role in directing the Academy Award winner, "Argo," last year.
He’s even begun a daily two-hour workout regimen to prep for the role, reports Us Weekly.
But will Affleck live up to the legacy of actors like Christian Bale and Michael Keaton? Or will he go the way of Val Kilmer or George Clooney?
We know you have an opinion so leave it in the comments: Is Ben Affleck a good choice to play Batman (why/why not)? If not, which actor would you cast instead?
